Islands in Literature

This Months Islands in Literature is a Springtime poem about Holy Island in Northeast England. The official name of the island is Lindisfarne. The Monastery there dates back to the 7th Century and is one of the early centers of Christianity in England. The island is connected by a causeway to the mainland and is only accessible at low tide. Since both Boston and Holy Island are in somewhat northerly climes, both welcome the hints of Spring.
