Langlee Island

Managed by the Town of Hingham, Langlee Island offers a rustic escape right in Hingham Harbor.

A large, strong oak tree stands proudly at the center of Langlee Island. Huckleberry and viburnum decorate the island’s landscape, and the island is shaded by maple, cedar, and birch trees. Visitors can enjoy camping in the grassy patches beneath large trees, as well as hiking along informal footpaths to ledges that offer views of the surrounding area. Island camping and mooring reservations are required and are managed by the Hingham Harbormaster.
