Wicked High Tide
Join the Stone Living Lab and friends at Long Wharf to experience this spectacular event and learn what it can tell us about climate change.
On November 25, Boston is due to experience a spectacular tidal event: Perigean Spring Tide. These “wicked high tides” are 2-4 feet higher than normal and give us a window into how sea level rise will soon affect our daily lives.
Join Stone Living Lab staff and partners at Long Wharf to learn about this natural phenomenon, try out our Climate Cart activities, and learn how climate change is affecting our communities. High tide will peak at 11:37AM. Waterproof shoes and a camera are highly encouraged!
