Sunset Lobster Clambake on Spectacle Island

Come along to our Summer Clambakes, where you’ll board a ferry at Long Wharf and, in under 30 minutes, arrive at Spectacle Island just in time for golden hour. There, you’ll dig into a classic New England clambake, complete with fresh seafood, seasonal sides, and dessert to top it all off. Shellfish not your thing? Vegan and non-shellfish meals will be available too! Spend the evening your way—walking the island’s scenic trails, relaxing on the beach, or simply soaking in the moment as the city lights flicker to life across Boston Harbor.

Know before you go:
- Advance registration is required – no walk ups accepted.
- Please review the menu below before purchasing your ticket – select your desired meal option, which is paired with a soup.
- Complimentary water and tea will be provided, with additional beverages available for purchase during your meal
- You will be on a remote island environment – sunscreen and bug spray are recommended
Directions
Arrive at Long Wharf North no later than 5:15pm to board the ferry and depart for Spectacle Island promptly at 5:45pm. Guests will receive email notification regarding gate confirmation as it gets closer to the date. The ferry will leave on time and WILL NOT wait for late guests. No refunds or exchanges will be issued for late guests who miss the boat.
Return ferry departs Spectacle Island to Boston at 8:15pm, with an approximate return to Boston at 8:45pm.
It is highly recommended to arrive on foot, bike, or public transportation. Long Wharf is easily accessible via the Blue Line, Aquarium stop. Parking in the area is limited and can be pricey. Some nearby parking options include:
- Atlantic Wharf Parking – $12 after 5pm – 12 min. walk to Long Wharf
- Lewis Wharf Parking – $23 – 6 min. walk
- The Chart House – $30 cash only – 1 min. walk
