Hop aboard the ferry and head out to Fort Warren on Georges Island for a day of swing dancing, music, and good old fashion fun with the Boston Lindy Bomb Squad and Elise Roth & Her Harvard Squares.

About the Boston Lindy Bomb Squad: The Boston Lindy Bomb Squad is dedicated to spreading the joy of swing dancing through whatever means necessary, including dancing in parks, subways, and fountains. Visit their page for news, dances, lindy bombs, and dance-able stuff in New England!
About Elise Roth & Her Harvard Squares: Elise Margaret Roth grew up in London, listening to recordings of the Andrews Sisters, Artie Shaw, and Glenn Miller, never imagining that she’d come to be known as the “poster girl” for the vintage music and dance scene in New England. Like many of her jazz forebears, Ms. Roth trained in the classical tradition and received her Masters in Music from New England Conservatory. Audiences who have seen her perform know that every detail is pitch-perfect, and her classic presentation is second only to her repertoire of music ranging from the 1920s Jazz Age through the 1950s. She is often compared vocally to Helen Forrest, Rosemary Clooney, and especially Judy Garland. Most recently, she has been proud to debut her own band, Elise Roth & Her Harvard Squares at several dance events and vintage parties, and most notably at the Cicada Club in Downtown Los Angeles.
This program is presented as part of the commemoration of the Boston Harbor Islands’ 25th anniversary as a National Park and 50th anniversary as a State Park.
