Some park access has changed due to current health regulations around COVID-19.


All camping and reservations for DCR properties have been suspended until further notice.

Deer Island park areas are temporarily closed to public access.

Worlds End is now open by advance reservation only.

Webb Memorial parking lot is closed until further notice.

Thompson Island is closed to the public until further notice.

Activities, ranger tours, and most programs are included with your ferry ticket.

Harborfit: Old Ironsides Yoga

Enjoy Boston's most unique all-levels vinyasa flow while overlooking the spectacular views of the sun setting over Boston in Charlestown Navy Yard.

Each class will have you moving, breathing, and working up a sweat for 60 minutes taught by a yoga instructor from Yoga Around Town.

Bring your own mat or towel and meet at the Charlestown Navy Yard Visitor Center on Pier 1.

Each class will also feature:

  • FREE 60-minute outdoor yoga class
  • the firing of old Ironsides cannon at sunset
  • views of the USS Constitution, the oldest commissioned ship in the United States Navy, a national icon
  • lowering of her flag signaling the day’s end on a historic national park while enjoying the beautiful Boston skyline view

Classes are FREE, but we ask that you register. Walk-ups are available on a limited basis. Please register to ensure your spot in the class! Classes will not be held in rain or extreme heat.

This program is apart of Boston Harbor Now’s Harborfit program providing free fitness programming all around the Boston’s waterfront, including yoga, zumba, bootcamps, sweat series, tai chi, biking, walks and more!
