Innovation Islands: Traditional Dance and Art
The Southeast Asian Coalition of Central Massachusetts (SEACMA) welcomes families, children, and adults alike to a day of traditional dance and art on Georges Island!
This Traditional Dance and Art program features cultural dances (such as lion dance, Vietnamese traditional dance, and more), practiced by SEACMA’s youth, as often performed for festivals, business openings, weddings, and other celebrations throughout the year! Dancers will perform and provide education to participants. Following the performance, SEACMA youth will hold a hands-on demonstration of the art of origami for children and henna hand painting. If this sounds like fun, we encourage you to join SEACMA on Georges Island on July 14th!
Directions: Departure will be from Long Wharf in Boston. Multiple parking options are available, but we recommend carpooling, public transit whenever possible.
