Park Alert:

All ferries to Spectacle and Peddocks Islands are cancelled Thursday, 9/24 through Sunday, 9/27 due to the approaching nor’easter. The Boston Harbor Islands Welcome Center will be closed Thursday-Sunday. Saturday’s BIPOC Birding Cruise and Reel Fun Fishing events, as well as Sunday’s Charlestown Community Cruise, are cancelled.

Boston Harbor Now is thrilled to bring Free Kite Fridays back for the 2021 season.

Visit Spectacle Island on a Friday to get a free kite to use during your trip and take home with you. Head to the North Drumlin for the best kite-flying conditions!

Kites are limited to one per group or family unit. Available while supplies last.
