Due to inclement weather, Saturday, May 30th’s Free Ferry Day has been postponed to Saturday, June 6th. Free Ferry Day on Sunday, May 31st will continue as planned with regular scheduled departures to Georges Island.

Fort Tour

Join park staff for a guided tour of historic Fort Warren.

Built in 1850, Fort Warren is one of Boston’s most iconic sites for Civil War history. Learn about the construction of this imposing granite fort and the lives of the soldiers and prisoners who lived there during the American Civil War.

This event runs twice a day at 11:15am and 1:15pm
