Some park access has changed due to current health regulations around COVID-19:

Georges, Peddocks, Lovells, Grape, and Bumpkin Islands are accessible by recreational vessel only.

Camping and reservations for the Boston Harbor Islands are suspended for the duration of the 2020 season.

Worlds End is now open by advance reservation only.

Thompson Island is closed to the public until further notice.

Fall Frolic on Peddocks Island

Celebrate the season with a special fall trip to Peddocks Island!

Enjoy guided hikes with park rangers, make s’mores at an island campfire, sip apple cider, or crunch through the leaves as you wind through beautiful wooded trails.

  • 45-minute ferry ride to Peddocks Island

  • Kid-friendly Junior Ranger activities

Ferry departs from Long Wharf North in downtown Boston (adjacent to Christopher Columbus Park) at 11:30am. Arrive 20-30 minutes in advance to allow time for boarding.
