Autumn Adventure on Peddocks Island
Celebrate the season with a special fall exploration of Peddocks - the last chance to visit the Island until next year!
Experience an unforgettable autumn day as you wander the trails of Peddocks Island in search of animal tracks and traces. Learn about the history and natural wonder of Peddocks on a guided tour, press your own cider, or take some time to explore on your own.
Visitors are encouraged to bring their binoculars, and cameras to enhance the day. Dress in layers for a day outdoors. Bring your own lunch, as there is no food service on Peddocks Island. Food and beverages will also be available for purchase aboard the ferry, but transactions will be cash only.
Your registration includes:
- Roundtrip ferry ride to & from Peddocks Island from downtown Boston
- Choice of guided tours exploring island history and wildlife
- Hot beverages & snacks
- Kid-friendly Junior Ranger activities
FERRY SCHEDULE & TICKETS
The ferry will depart Rowes Wharf promptly at 11:00 am. Please plan to arrive no later than 10:30 am for check-in and boarding.
- 10:30 am – Arrive for boarding
- 11:00 am – Ferry departs Rowes Wharf
- 11:45 am – Estimated arrival to Peddocks Island
- 2:15 pm – Departure boarding begins
- 2:30 pm – Return ferry to Boston departs Peddocks Island
- 3:00 pm – Estimated return to Rowes

- Student/Senior: $25
- Kids (4-12): $20
- Infant/Toddlers (0-3): Free
This program is presented by the National Park Service, Massachusetts Division of Marine Fisheries, Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife (MassWildlife), Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA), Boston Harbor Now, and Save the Harbor/Save the Bay as part of the commemoration of the Boston Harbor Islands’ 25th anniversary as a National Park and 50th anniversary as a State Park.
