UAP Summer Programs

Last month, DCR announced the recreational programming the agency is offering at state parks this summer for people of all abilities through its Universal Access Program (UAP). DCR works to ensure everyone has access to outdoor recreation by making accessibility improvements to properties, providing specialized adaptive equipment, and offering inclusive programming. This summer’s programming includes adaptive paddling, accessible cycling, accessible fishing, accessible golfing, and accessible camping. DCR also offers beach wheelchairs at waterfronts across the state including at Spectacle Island!
