Meet Julieanana

Julieanne Fontana
Julieanne is the new Supervisory Park Ranger for the National Parks of Boston/Boston Harbor Islands team. She joins us with National Park Service experience at the Blackstone River Valley National Historical Park in Rhode Island, Cabrillo National Monument in San Diego, and Hawai‘i Volcanoes National Park, amongst others. After working in diverse areas around the country to learn about everything from building partnerships in urban parks to facilitating public programs about active volcanoes, Julieanne is happy to be back on the East Coast and working with the National Parks of Boston. She holds a BA in history and environmental studies from Williams College and a MA in Public Humanities from Brown University. She lives with her husband, Tal, and two cats, Mango and Nube, near Providence, Rhode Island.
