Boston Harbor Fall Happenings
As the summer draws to a close, the Boston Harbor Islands National State Park continues to offer a season of access and programming on the Harbor Islands. The Fall season boasts bright skies, fall colors, and seabreezes, as well as a variety of activities that offer something for everyone! Whether you are an avid naturalist or nature enthusiast, angler, culture bearer or just looking for unique and accessible autumn programming, your National and State Park welcomes you and your community.
This Fall season, the park is featuring new opportunities to explore Spectacle and Georges Island including Spectacle Pollinators on August 31 and September 1st, and Halloween on the Harbor at Georges Islands on October 19th. Returning favorites are the Reel Fun Fishing at Nut Island on September 7th, Soulful Bliss Arts and Music Festival on September 15th, the Boston Lighthouse Cruises continues through mid September.
In October, our public ferry season comes to close with $5 fares to Spectacle Island on October 12, 13 and 14th. We strive to make the islands accessible with our continued dedication to provide a variety of low and free access programs. See you on the Island!
