Imagine that you are safely moored in clear water just off a beautiful island at sunset, surrounded by sea birds, striped bass—and, of course, your guests and crew. That dream can easily become a reality. And you can have it all in just a few minutes sail from the mainland. Approximately 30 moorings serve the Boston Harbor Islands national park area. Located in safe anchorage just off Long, Peddocks, Gallops, Georges, and Rainsford Islands, these moorings are available for reservation through Hingham Harbor Marina. Reservations are suggested, especially for weekends and peak periods like Memorial Day, July 4, and Labor Day. 

Visitors can anchor off the islands at their own risk for free.
